JBL Speaker View, Smart Link Competitor Lenovo Smart Display
Smart Home Speaker such as Google Home has tried to flood the market in the year 2018.
Some manufacturers are already preparing a flagship device, including JBL
through a Link View. However, the products on display at the CES 2018 is
rumored to deliver something different.
JBL basically Link View smart speaker is powered
by Google's Assistant. The owner can give voice commands to do things like play
music, gives information a matter of the weather, and so on.
The difference, JBL speakers not only View Links but also comes with 8 inches sized screen HD resolution. the screen
can use Owner to video call, watch videos from YouTube, follow the step by step
when creating recipes of dishes, and more.
His own speaker is claimed capable of presenting
a qualified audio quality. JBL using two 10W speakers facing forward, as well
as the passive radiator facing to the back for deeper bass. In addition, JBL
Links View is also capable of streaming audio 24-bit HD and has a built-in chromecast.
Summer Slide
Unfortunately, the arena during CES 2018 JBL does not want to
announce how many pricing Links View later in the market. Reserved launch date
still uncertain. JBL just gave his latest product leakage will be present in
the summer of 2018.
I initially had difficulty imagining how JBL
$250 Link View will correspond to my experience with Smart Display Device,
Lenovo Smart House from Google. The second product that is part of what will
eventually become the Quartet's device equipped Google Assistant that features
a touchscreen and a smart
conversationalist who is always listening.
Display Lenovo, which hit store
shelves in America a few weeks ago, making the world's technology impressed
with how it looks and overall ease of use. JBL has the burden of entering the
market both with exactly the same software – and thus the core features and
user experience. Even Lenovo device actually has a larger screen with the same
price and design are more elegant and better.
Both devices are
designed to mimic Amazon Echo Show ($130 in Amazon.com) – the first major smart
speaker with the screen. You ordered all this device with your voice just as
you use a clever speaker like Amazon Echo ($85 at Amazon.com) or Google Home
($129 at Walmart). The screen then displays additional information when you ask
about the weather, look for a local restaurant, check your calendar and more.
You can also use the screen to watch the video
and do video calls.
As with the
Lenovo Smart Display, JBL Links View is a superb cooking tool thanks to the
deft way that lets you navigate the recipes with voice commands. Google's
Assistant, in General, using the touchscreen
better than Alexa, so I prefer both devices Google to Amazon Echo Show.
Choosing between Lenovo Smart Display and JBL Links View is more complicated.
I
still prefer the Lenovo Smart Display
because I usually only listen to music in the background and liked the design
better. But if you want the same features with speakers that can be rocked, JBL
Links View is a better choice for you.
JBL Links
View feature, but not the touchscreen
tablet. It has speakers and a microphone, but it's not just a clever speaker.
This shows the visual information after you ask a question, but a mobile phone
you can do so with the same Google Assistant.
Like Lenovo Smart Display and
Amazon Echo previous Show, JBL Link View has many things to be proven only to
justify its existence as other screens find a place in your home.
While it's
true that you can not use the JBL to compose an email or download the
application as you can with a mobile phone or tablet, Google Assistant
experience sitting in front and in the middle to elegant effect. But dancing
restaurant, and the display will show some results together with each photo
that you can see. You can then scroll through options with your voice or with a
touch.
As with the
Lenovo Smart Display, JBL Links View is cheaper than a mobile phone or tablet.
This device also has a microphone that is smoother to govern from a distance
and a better speaker.
You set up
the display of the Link Google applications using JBL Home. You can adjust the
ambient screen using applications – select from personal photos, photo stock,
and hours. You can enable personalized results, adjust the sound match and give
the link View your address through the application.
If you are
concerned about privacy, the display of the Links has a button to turn off the microphone, and a physical shutter
that covers the camera. If not, just take
note of what you say after you say the words "wake up, O Google" or
"OK." Because it integrates with services like Google Calendar, you
may see a personalized info on your home screen, but you can disable it in your
application if it makes you feel uncomfortable.
You can book
in advance now View Links for JBL $250 on the company website, and the company
says it will send 13 September. This is not yet available overseas, but the
U.S. turned into a price of around £200 and AU $350.
What Can Be
Done JBL Link View
Once you are active and
running with JBL Link View, you no longer need your cell phone as an intermediary. You can talk directly to the screen,
and that will be responded to by the Google Assistant. You can search the web,
play music, add something to your shopping list, play games, control your smart
home device and more.
You can also start by
tapping the screen and the Link View will show you footage of your day and
local weather. Scroll up for music and video recommendations and suggestions
from other commands. The screen displays YouTube videos in HD. You can also
explore personal photos and make video calls using Google Duo. World Technology
hopes Google will allow you to use other video chat software - even
company-owned Hangouts will be fun - but that's a small complaint.
Better you
watch videos or browse the web, you can always shift upwards for quick settings
like brightness and volume control, or slide it to the right of the screen to
return to the previous page. In General, using the JBL Links View is both
intuitive and responsive touchscreen.
View Links
JBL has features that video call quality will, of course, depend on the quality
of your signal. If the recipient does not have the Google Duo, you can always
do a normal voice call: Assistant Google will recognize your voice and finding
your contact list for phone numbers. The recipient will even notice that you
are calling, even if you're in the loudspeakers.
JBL Link
View also works well as a smart home control center. You can use it to order
one of the 5,000 devices connected who now works with Google's Assistant. A security device as the key does not offer an additional screen in the control, but most of
the smart home devices are compatible, includes thermostat, lights, switches
and intelligent. For example, turn on the Philips light Hue you with voice
commands and you will see a control panel that lets you adjust the brightness
with the swipe or change color. You can even pull Your decoy Nest Cam.
Currently,
you can also watch video from streaming services like YouTube TV, HBO Now, CBS
All Access, Google Play movies, as well as certain video news on the display of
the Link, except Netflix. You even can not transmit to the view Netflix use
your phone, but you can use it as a Bluetooth speaker.
enough to be
useful in most of the rooms of your home, but it's the best in the kitchen. Ask
for the recipe, and you will see a number of options which you can scroll.
Select one to get an overview, and then start a recipe for Google Assistant
program which is adjusted through the ingredients and then step-by-step cooking
instructions.
These
instructions are very easy and fantastic. You can jump forward and backward
with sound or with the touch and Google will follow you as an Assistant who
will always help. Once you see the cooking step, Google will show the
ingredients in a small list on the right for a quick reference. If you do not
see one and you are ready to add the onion, you can ask how many you need and
Google will know what you mean and responsibility.
If you do
not know how to perform a particular step, you can ask for help and Google will
find a more detailed direction and sometimes a video so you can see how the
swooping, discolor, or any steps that need to be clarified.
You can also
do many things at once with work or while cooking and playing songs, watch
videos, organize some of the named timers,
add something to your shopping cart and Your Smart House controls, then you can
return to the last place you leave with notify Google to continue cooking. The
display of the link will save your place.

JBL is an excellent kitchen Assistant, and so also with Lenovo Smart Display.
In fact, every feature I described above work the same way on a Lenovo Smart
Display. It runs the Android operating system are the same Things that are
supported by the same i.e. Google's Assistant.
Both look
much better than Amazon Echo Show – TV-like box of 20 years ago. The Echo Show,
of course, showing different because of software backed by Google than Alexa's
Assistant.
Smart on the
speaker, Alexa, and Google the same
Assistant. On the screen, smart Assistant Google function better. Google has
limited YouTube from the Show. Google offers a control on screen for the smart
House. Display Google can send directions to your cell phone and you can scroll
through the recipes on your mobile phone and send you to want Your display to smart. You can't do that
at the Echo Show.
The Echo
Show features the Tap-to-new Alexa is meant to help those who are hearing
impaired or talk using the device. You can also use it as an intercom and
"drop in" on a video feed from the other Shows for both parties have the features enabled. That is the only
advantage of smart home devices, which is why The World of Technology mentions either JBL Link View and the Lenovo Smart Display
better.
Microphone
Echo Show slightly better than JBL Link View and Lenovo Smart Display. They
hear me from a greater distance and more easily above the background noise.
Display Links JBL barely out of Lenovo Smart Display on this test, since it is
more often heard me about music. All three are fine if you're in the same room
and talking with a low background sound.
Bass Audio
With hardware as the main
differentiator, especially among Google's smart screens, Lenovo does a good job
in creating models with different and elegant designs. JBL Link Display doesn't
look bad, but with a brand that is usually known as its speaker, JBL clearly
wants to make its own brand with sound quality.
JBL Link
View in aperitif hitting the bass on
songs like Elephant by Tame Impala at the top and Sail by Awolnation. Smart
Display Lenovo could not follow. Amazon Echo Show doing a good job with the
power of voice gave almost the same but
does not have the same power on this type of song.
The song
appears like a Sail, and you'll even see a silver metal logo on the back of the
speakers bouncing to the music full of bass. Unfortunately, if you don't like
the JBL bass heavy, do not lean against them and you can't adjust the EQ
settings on the application. You can use the speakers Google Smart Home, so hopefully, that feature is not far behind for
smart screen companies.
I will call
the Echo Show the best of the Group on this song, but fortunately, JBL Link
View not far behind, even in lighter melodies with a greater emphasis on
vocals. Both are clearly better than Lenovo Smart Display.
So
obviously, I think Lenovo Smart Display sound good, especially if you just want
to listen to music in the background while you are cooking. Display Links JBL
should be better to stand out from the competition, and it is.
Conclusion
JBL Link
View did a good job to meet high example given by Lenovo Smart Display. Display
Links to handle a wide variety of job well thanks to Google's Assistant who is
in it and, like the Smart Display Lenovo before, this is the best multitasking
as a chef with the expertise to help you through the recipe.
Especially
if you want to help in the kitchen, Display Link JBL worthy for consideration
together with Lenovo Smart Display. Both beat Amazon Echo Show. Choosing
between Lenovo and smart screens JBL down to the sound quality compared to the
design. If you like the look of the JBL Links View is better, it's easy, use
the JBL.
I prefer the design of Lenovo
and give a little edge overall because it has a larger screen and it sounds
great. So the JBL speakers, not smart
View Links my favorite with the screen, but it might be yours if you want to
sway when you cook.
